Is CiviCon right for me? - We welcome all, from people interested in learning more about CiviCRM to people who have been using it for years! The conference program is organized into audience-oriented tracks, providing you flexibility and control over your experience. From case studies and “how to” sessions, to in-depth code review, the program will cover a diverse array of topics, session types, and representative organizations -- ensuring you the opportunity to view broadly, and go deeply, into the CiviCRM community.
I have questions about CiviCRM, will there be an opportunity to get answers? - There will be a Consultant Cafe open at various times throughout the conference to provide one-on-one consulting advice as well as many opportunities to network with others in the CiviCRM community.
I am new to CiviCRM and not very technical, will I be overwhelmed? - Absolutely not! The conference has an entire track devoted to discovering CiviCRM with sessions targeted at end-users with beginner-level workshops. There also is a two-day User and Administrator training on May 31 & June 1 for those who want to get a jump start on learning CiviCRM.
I am a consultant who has implemented CiviCRM for some time, What will I get out of CiviCon? - CiviCon has an advanced user/implementer product track packed with sessions on use cases and implementation success stories, and indispensible CiviCRM extensions. In addition, the Community track may also be of interest to get more involved in the CiviCRM community. CiviCon is also a unique opportunity to see how CiviCRM has been used in many situations and share your experiences with other members of the community.
I am a developer working with CiviCRM and have ideas about extending the software, will I have an opportunity to discuss these with experts? New this year is an entire Community track where discussions on the direction CiviCRM is heading, funding, building community and more will be led by both the Core Team and other Partners. All developers are encouraged to attend and be a part of the discussion. In addition, there is a two-day Developer training being held May 31 & June 1 geared towards those who want to customize CiviCRM, create Extensions, or submit improvements to core CiviCRM.

What is the CiviCon schedule like, will have time to experience Colorado? - The two-day conference has workshops running from 9:00am - 6:00pm. There is also a Reception Thursday evening from 6:15-7:45pm with light hors d'oeuvres, wine, and local craft beers. If you are staying in the area for a day or two before or after the conference please check out the Ft Collins Insider section of the venue page (https://colorado2016.civicrm.org/venue/conference) for things to do and see.
